I’m Sandy, a 30 something freelance copyeditor/copywriter/SEO/SMM/coffee addict/Mom-of-three/ and some more awesome titles will be inserted here in the future…

I love blogging, and meeting new people in the blogging community. I like the genuine exchange of thoughts and ideas. I’m the person who avidly reads everybody’s comments!  Blogging allows me to meet people who have the same interests as I do, and I appreciate how a lot of people actually take time to answer my questions and respond to my comments.

Stories and words enchant me and from this, you can tell already that reading gives me an inordinate amount of joy. Books are one of my treasures, I hold them dear to my heart along with my daughters’ little notes telling me what a great cook I am. (Even if it’s only fried eggs and hash browns.)

I like life’s simple pleasures; having a second cup of coffee after the kids leave for school, walking in our quiet neighborhood in the early morning, and watching the magical l’heure bleu. I have two pet turtles, they’re quite small and crawl really fast. They’re also high maintenance and very demanding. Both are about an inch and a half wide and love having their undersides (is that what it’s called?) brushed with a toothbrush.

Update on my turtles:

Well my neighbor’s cat got too excited and run off with one of my babies. The one left has grown 6x it’s size after 9 months and have a really nasty bite.
